Sumitra Tharu, 18, of Basanta in Deudakala VDC-1 has been barred from
entering the kitchen and touching water for belonging to ‘low caste’.
Tharu, of Neulapur VDC and Rajan Chapgain of Duedkala VDC had got eloped June 8.Tharu said that she was being discriminated by the in-laws but she was not seeking any legal course to avoid division in the family.
